Company History

1979
We began as Circuit Repair Corporation in Burlington, MA. Initial focus was offering circuit board damage repair services.

1983
We expanded and moved to Wakefield MA with 2500 square feet and 8 employees.

1984
We perfected our damaged circuit repair process using dry film adhesive backed replacement circuits. We now sell these circuits to customers who prefer to repair their circuit boards in house. 

1986
Surgeon-like skills are demonstrated every day by our dedicated team of technicians. Many have been with the company 10 years or more.
We expanded and moved to Peabody MA with 5000 square feet with 20 employees. We added rework and modification services.


1988
We expanded and moved to Rowley MA with 12000 square feet with 30 employees. Our services continued to expand. We become actively involved in the IPC Organization.

1995
Our involvement with the IPC grew and Jeff Ferry, company President, becomes Chairman of the IPC Repairability Committee. Hundreds of the illustrations in the IPC guidebooks IPC 7711 and IPC 7721 were provided by the company.

1997
The BGA rework department includes 4 BGA rework systems, a Nocolet X-Ray systems and a team of certified technicians.
We expanded and moved to Haverhill MA and purchased a modern 30,000 square feet facility located on 7 acres. We grew to 40 employees and changed the company name to Circuit Technology Center.


1998
We substantially expanded our upgrade and modification services focusing on BGA rework.

2000
We became an IPC Certification Center.

2003
We developed and refined several new BGA component rework procedures.

2006
We have upgraded our quality control and process programs to comply with RoHS requirements.
