Company History
1979
Business began as Circuit Repair Corporation in Burlington, MA. Focus was offering circuit board repair and rework services.
1983
Business expanded and moved to Wakefield MA. Business grew to 8 employees.
1984 Business perfected the process to repair and replace missing or damaged conductors on assembled circuit board using dry film adhesive backed replacement circuits. This process became the recommend IPC procedure for conductor repair.
1986
The business expanded and moved to Peabody, MA, and grew to 15 employees. Expanded the range of services, including services for complex rework and modification.
1988
The business expanded and moved to Rowley, MA, and grew to 25 employees. Service offerings continued to expand. The business became actively involved in the IPC Organization.
1995
Involvement with the IPC grew, and Jeff Ferry, company President, became Chairman of the IPC Repairability Committee. Hundreds of the illustrations in the IPC guidebooks IPC 7711 and IPC 7721 were provided by the company.
1997
Business expanded and moved to Haverhill MA. Employee base grew.
1998
Business substantially expanded services including meeting the growing demand BGA component rework, a particularly challenging procedure most electronics manufacturing companies find very difficult to manage in house.
2000
Business became an IPC Certification Center.
2003
Business developed and refined several new BGA component rework procedures.
2006
Business upgraded quality control and process programs to comply with RoHS (Removal of Hazardous Substances) requirements.
2009
Business celebrated 30 years providing surgeon grade rework and repair, by the book and guaranteed. Staff grew to 30 employees.
2011
Business received ISO 9001:2008 certification.
2013
Business expanded component rework services to include BGA component reballing to meet needs for military and high-rel customers.
2017
Expanded inspection capabilities with the purchase of a Dage Quadra 3 X-ray System.
2018
Received ISO 9001:2015 certification.
2019
Purchased 7th Air-Vac DRS 25 BGA Rework System.
2019
Purchased robotic hot solder dip machine to support touch-less BGA de-balling capability and component tinning services.
2021
Commissioned a second robotic hot solder dip machine as BGA de-ball/re-ball and component tinning services department expands.
